[STANDARD "WHO AM I?" SECTION]
For those who simply stumbled into this page,
my name is Andrew Callan. I
was born in Maryland on July 25,
1974. I grew up there until the summer after my freshman year of high
school -- August, 1989. My family moved to Greeneville, Tennessee, and I
finished my high school days there. After graduating in 1992, I began
attending Tennessee Technological
University (TTU). I majored in Electrical and Computer Engineering
with a discipline in computer engineering.
I've been on two coops. The first
was with the
Naval Surface Warfare Center
in Dahlgren, Virginia. The
second was with Milliken
in Greenville, South Carolina. During my time at TTU,
I was heavily involved with
Campus Crusade for
Christ.
I finally graduated from TTU in May 1998. I moved to Huntsville,
Alabama to take a job with Teledyne
Brown Engineering . In September 2001, I married Carissa Ann,
the
young lady who God has created to be the only one for me! In late
September, I left Teledyne Brown for a job with
ELMCO
Westar A&DG
QinetiQ. In 2003, my first
son, Murray, was born. In 2006, my first daughter, Amber, was born.
2007 brought another job change to
Analytical Services, Inc.
Carissa and I are participants at Summit Crossing Community Church
in Madison, Alabama.
Also, a
side project of mine is helping
Partners In Missions,
International. I went on a trip to Romania with PIMI in May, 1997. One
of my photo collections (see side bar at right) contains
pictures from that trip.
Now you know the really, really brief history of Andrew Callan.
