Front View of Banloc Baptist Church

This is what the church looked like from the street. All of the buildings in each village have fencing of some sort around them. I was told that the purpose was to keep gypsies out because, in the past, the gypsies have made a practice of theft. The gypsies are not considered to be Romanians; they are a separate nation. Standing in front of the gate is Emil Toader, one of the Romanian pastors who drove us out to the work site by van each day.
