This is the view looking straight down Victory Square from one end to the other. This is where the revolution began in 1989. At the far end of the square is the Orthodox Church. It was in front of that building where the shooting started. We were able to spend Saturday morning and early afternoon in the shops around the square. This included eating at a Romanian McDonalds.
